so i spent some time last week fiddling around with some code for an ic inbox, and i like the way that it turned out (despite spending a ridiculous amount of time on it oops) so i thought i'd share! feel free to use it/repurpose it some more/etc however you'd like c:
a live preview & code is under the cut, the code in action for koon is here! i used it to have a gif of his carrier, but if that doesn't work for you regular infini-loop gifs look just as great (or just pictures. the possibilities are endless)! if anything breaks lemme know and i'll try to help you out.

EDIT: so i belatedly found out the placeholder wasn't actually 250x400 (thanks to the people that let me know), because another part of the code was adding 28px to the widths... sorry about that!! the code should be fixed to actually be 250x400 now.
