AUGUST (GLADIA) 2016

You want to do your best for Blanc! Or maybe you just want cold, hard colle. Either way, the boards at the Hall of Glory or the Poisoned Pawn are your best bets: these short memos list a brief job description and the location where the requester can be found.
The summer is coming to an end. Now is a good idea to do everything you want to make your summer dreams come true. But to make those dreams come true, you're going to need a bit of help. And it comes in the form of colle. So get to work!
There are no slot limit to jobs and you can do them any way you like! To help keep track of things, please sign up in the comments below and feel free to use this post to plot!
All questions about the jobs may be directed to the thread below!

♟ Petrosian’s Help Wanted Board
♟ Cochrane’s Help Wanted Board
Dye Hard Requester
Meer, a taxi boat ownerRequester Location
Verkleur RiverDate Available
7/23 - 8/15Quest Location
Petrosian, Blanc“Yeah, I saw a mergoat with a horn this long. And you know what the worst part is? It wasn’t on his head.”
Summer would be the loveliest time of the year for Petrosians if it weren’t for the rain. The rise in water levels encourages mergoat-riding bandits to strike, and it’s up to you Heroes to stop them!
On Blanc-issued patrol boats, Heroes must patrol the river, protect the locals and apprehend the bandits on sight. Luring them out might be tricky, as no one can really tell what they are after. Do they like colle? Treasures? A nice, hearty dinner? After some sleuthing, you’ll find that they love the colors red, black and purple. Why? They’re supplies for their dyeing business, of course. With magic, they steal the colors from these items and store them in mana crystals for later use. A convenient alternative to rare dyes, but an illegal one nonetheless.
Once you catch these greedy bandits in the act or lure them out, they won’t go down without a fight! The weather, their guns and well-trained mergoats will make this a difficult chase.Reward
350 colle per hour and a mana crystal dye of your choice
♟ Cochrane’s Help Wanted Board
Hate to be the Boarer of Bad News, But... Requester
Pigeonsblood Postmaster General Esquire Commander Mr Whobblebury, Ph.DRequester Location
Pigeonsblood School of MagecraftDate Available
8/23 - 9/15Quest Location
Grantebrycge, Gammon“No… this can’t be right… Oh gods! Oh gods, my life is over!”
Many young Gammonians dream about attending a prestigious magic school like Pigeonsblood School of Magecraft. Unfortunately, some dreams are just meant to stay dreams. Not everyone makes it into the academy, and the mail department needs your help in crushing those dreams beneath your booted heel and grinding them into the dust.
Ordinarily, acceptance and rejection letters are sent via owl. Due to the inclement weather, however, the poor owls have fallen sick, right in the middle of the delivery period! The acceptances made it through just fine, but the rejection letters still need to be delivered! This is where you come in. You will be assigned a delivery animal-in-training, a flying micropig outfitted in a mailbag (to hold the letters) and a tiny courier hat. This will be the pigs’ first time performing such a task, so be sure to guide them well!
As to be expected, this will probably be an emotional letter for these students to receive. Expect and beware of any of the following reactions, and possibly more extreme ones: annoying whining, crying on you, physical violence directed at you, angry rants, and utter and inconsolable despair. Ah, youth and their dreams.Reward
300 colle per hour and a box of Benny Bat’s every flavor beans
Star Wands Episode I: The Phantom Mineace Requester
Junior Professor Mr HumperschtickleRequester Location
Pigeonsblood School of MagecraftDate Available
8/23 - 9/15Quest Location
Grantebrycge, Gammon“We’ll be fine. If we didn’t do this we’d be waiting forever, and, besides, the theater department had plenty of money they weren’t using.”
With the next semester looming, and Pigeonsblood's Board of Education showing no signs of passing a budget, some desperate professors have taken matters into their own hands. They need minerals; they’re specifically looking for gemstones (all types, but ruby and peridot especially) as well as metals (bronze, platinum, and so on). These materials will be used for magic research, club activities, alchemy experiments, and more. And they won’t ask too many questions as to where you got it from.
Some professors will suggest traveling to Friedgood to find the materials. Heroes can buy what they need from the local miners outright, but they'll find it's more profitable to harvest it themselves. There's a number of abandoned old mines where they can try their luck, and a day's work will more than fill the quota, but watch out! As the area was the site of a recent battle, there might be wayward goats who survived roaming about. The mines were also abandoned for a reason - many of them are now the home of local beasts and monsters.
Take note of the thick fog on the forecast, so bring a map and a lantern! Finding your way there and back again might be trouble otherwise.Reward
200-900 colle per mineral submitted (depending on item quality and rarity)
Fighting Evil By Moonlight Requester
Cochrane PoliceRequester Location
BlackchurchDate Available
08/08 - 08/31Quest Location
Cochrane, Gammon“I'm not saying I am a serial killer, I'm just saying I’d pick a better name if I was.”
With their most recent kill, Sam the Stabber has done more than simply strike fear into the hearts of citizens. Their brutal actions have incited a spike in crime, encouraging hooligans to take advantage of the cover of night to terrorize locals. Who better to aid the frightened populace than a Hero?
As an escort, Heroes will protect locals as they travel between their jobs and homes. The most common customers will be from wool factories, since they tend to work long hours and clock out after the sun has set. While on duty, keep an eye out for pushy illegal wares peddlers and kidnappers who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty. Sleeping drugs are commonly used by people looking for good ransom targets and violent scuffles happen often, so be on your guard! Aggressive drunks also wander through the area, picking fights with anyone who looks at them the wrong way. If you get too close, be ready to dodge empty liquor bottles.
Now's the time to make a good name for yourself in Gammon, Heroes! After all, first impressions last the longest.Reward
400 colle on success
